Stony Brook Statesman Also Picks up Nextek STAR Story
The State University of New York at Stony Brook has followed the lead of the university's TV broadcast and weatherchannel.com, and has picked up the story of how Nextek Power System's STAR portable solar panel has been configured to provide power for Dr. Brooke Ellison. The Stony Brook professor was injured in an accident as a child, and needs a ventilator to breathe. The STAR provides backup power if her main power systems ever go out.
